I had a teacher ask me before our November meeting about using Google maps or Google Earth to show important places during the Revolutionary War. I was so glad that we learned more about Google products at our November meeting. I downloaded Google Earth and found a Revolutionary War history tour and other history tours. The teacher is going to use it with his class and is considering using some of the other history tours.

Heather--have you tried Google Earth and SMARTboards, yet? We are making a big push with SMART and tools like Google Earth and Google maps are powerful and very visually appealing to all.
No, I haven't. We don't have any interactive whiteboards in our building. I can see how powerful and visually appealing Google Earth and Google Maps would be on an interactive whiteboard.
