Here are some resources for podcasting that I saw in my RSS feeds:
classroomtech / podcasting - This wiki not only has information on podcasting, but also covers blogging in the classroom, wikis, and digital storytelling.
Freesound Project - This is a collaborative database of Creative Commons licensed sounds. Freesound focuses only on sound, not songs.
soundsnap - This is a collection of original sounds made or recorded by its users. Music loops and samples are also included.
